Cayman Turtle Farm

The Cayman Turtle Farm: Island Wildlife Encounter is the largest land attraction in the Cayman Islands, featuring both entertaining and education programing that touches on not only turtles, but other Cayman marine life.

Exhibits at the Cayman Turtle Farm include a lagoon of sea life, a turtle farm, sharks and other sea predators, and a bird zone.

Location

Cayman Turtle Farm is situated along the western outskirts of West Bay.

Car and bike parking is available for free directly across from the farm.

There are numerous eateries to pick from in the neighborhood nearby this attraction. Cracked Conch, which serves Caribbean dishes, will be of particular interest to visitors looking for a convenient meal. The restaurant is only around a few hundred yards from this wildlife attraction, so stop in and place your order. Also within a short distance, you and your group will come across eateries including Cobalt Coast Restaurant and Chef John's BBQ & Catering where you and your group will be able to try a bite of Cayman meals and enjoy the culture of the Cayman Islands.

Hours

The Cayman Turtle Farm is open from 8:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday, though the lagoon closes at 4:00 p.m. Sunday hours are seasonal, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. October through May, and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. June through September.

November through June the park is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The park is also closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.

Cost

Access to the entire park costs $45(USD) for adults over 12, and $25(USD) for children under 12. You can visit just the Turtle Farm for $30(USD) for adults and $20(USD) for children.
