Accessible via a 37-step staircase just off a main road, the East End Lighthouse Park is home to the relative ruins East End Lighthouse, which watches over Grace Bay.
Although the lighthouse has fallen much into disrepair, the National Trust of the Cayman Islands was given special permission to clean up the area surrounding the lighthouse so that tourists may enjoy a visit. Pathways, flower beds, and a 1,000 gallon water tank for irrigation were installed, and now the grounds welcome guests who can't help but exalt in the beautiful view that awaits them.
Consider staying on Grand Cayman if you plan on visiting East End Lighthouse Park, as those visiting this part of the Cayman Islands will have convenient access to the historical site throughout their trip. Tourists will find a small collection of lodgings stationed in the area surrounding this historical site.
