Watersports afficianados can enjoy plenty of aquatic activities on East End beach, which has some of the best windsurfing in the region.

Set in Colliers, 3.5 miles north-northeast of East End, this beach is on the East coast of Grand Cayman. You might want even if you aren't staying very close. Many people find that their favorite beach in the Cayman Islands is one that is within easy reach of hotels, but far enough from the noisy crowds; a somewhat secluded part of the coast called East End usually offers the right balance.

How to Access The Beach
This beach is on the northeast edge of the island, far from the airport but accessible by a coastal road that runs the length of the islands edge. Specific public parking and access are not available here, but some of the resorts allow you to park or you can park along the road or at a restaurant nearby.

Amenities and Ambiance

The cool tropical breezes and smooth sands of the East End beaches makes these shores a popular destination on Grand Cayman. The water is protected by an offshore reef.

The snack bar here is the ultimate convenience if you need a cold drink, or something to hold you over until dinner. On some days, it may be possible to try local specialties from one of the local vendors who are generally found here.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot. Adventurous vacationers can take advantage of all of the watersports action available at the East End beach.
