Most people are aware of the excellent deep sea fishing available around Grand Cayman, but there are bonefish to be caught in unexpected areas as well.  Fly fishing and light tackle fishing is certainly possible here and should be considered if you plan to spend a day or two of your getaway angling.

If you like the idea of spending some time with a rod in your hand, you will find 10 different charter fishing operators that can help make it happen.

If you want to organize a fishing trip, you can check with Captain Marvin's. The full day fishing trips begin at 8:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m., but you can also sign up for one of two half day tours, which go from 8:00 a.m. They are found in Seven Mile Beach, in western Grand Cayman.

Another option is ReelEsea Charters and Tours. ReeEsea specializes in half and full day deep sea fishing charters that take you about five to 12 miles out from the Morgan's Harbour Dock in West Bay or Kaibo Dock near Rum Point in North Side. The tours focus on catching marlin, wahoo, tuna, and mahi-mahi. You can call them at (345) 916-8655.
