Frank Sound Beach

This is a good spot to take a break if you're on your way from George Town to East End. It's a beautiful spot and there won't be a crowd.

Positioned just outside the heart of the island of Grand Cayman, 4.1 miles west of East End, Frank Sound Beach is on the East coast of the island, You might want to drop by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. When you need to spend the afternoon away from tourist-filled hotspots, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to visit Frank Sound Beach.

How to Access The Beach

You'll find this beach in southeast Grand Cayman at the intersection of Bodden Town Road and aptly named Frank Sound Road. Head east past the intersection a little ways and park along the road.

Amenities and Ambiance

This is a naturally pretty beach, with mangroves and driftwood and crooked palm trees. Its a popular spot for fly fishing.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

If you happen to choose coasts that bring guests an angelic place to escape, then you will want to try Frank Sound Beach; it's back within a much quieter part of Grand Cayman.

This beach is positioned on the East coast of Grand Cayman. East End Lighthouse Park is one of a number of attractions in the region.

The popularity of this spot on any given day can vary, depending on when you visit, and how full the nearby hotels are. This beach is not near many large hotels, but it's sometimes enjoyed by guests staying at smaller accommodations in the area.
