Nightlife on Grand Cayman

Most of the nightlife on Grand Cayman caters directly to tourists, a fact that has its benefits as well as its downsides.  While there is always something going on, prices can sometimes be marked up, especially when it comes to top shelf drinks.

This is an ever-present issue on Seven Mile Beach, which is also where the highest concentration of nightlife is located.  Bars, clubs, and cigar lounges of all styles are located here, some with cover charges, and all with great service.

Near the cruise ship terminal is a mixture of beach bars and international chains the visitors with only a short amount of time on the island feel comfortable frequenting because they know they'll get a great experience.  If you're looking for something a little more on the sophisticated side than a wild and crazy party, bars at some of the top restaurants give off a more subdued vibe.

If you really want to get to know what the true island nightlife is like, however, head to the smaller hole in the wall bars near residential neighborhoods.  Not only will you get to interact with locals, but you'll save money on drinks as well.

You'll find a variety of different bars and nightlife venues on Grand Cayman.

If you'd like to experience some of the local night scene, you should consider Roof Top Lounge. It is located in Georgetown, in western Grand Cayman. Two bars on two different levels with two different atmospheres make Roof Top/Sky Lounge the perfect spot to spend an evening. With daily drink specials and a DJ on the weekends, the part doesn't stop here!

A second place worth considering is O Bar. One of the most popular spots for nightlife on the Seven Mile Beach strip, the dance floor here is always full and the music pumping. They can be reached at (345) 949-6227.

A third good option is Abacus Lounge. Set in what looks like a Great House, Abacus Lounge is the place for upscale, yet fun, night life. From fine wines to tropical cocktails, Abacus insures that you will enjoy your time here. They're located on Grand Cayman.
