A nice stretch of white sand shoreline, this beach is mostly populated by those renting the beach-side accommodations here.
Set in North Side, 2.3 miles west of Old Man Bay, this beach is on the North East coast of Grand Cayman. You should think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying particularly close by. You will usually find yourself with plenty of room to stretch out, since the vicinity around the beach and the beach itself are not stuffed with visitors.
This beach does not provide any public parking or access. Aside from parking along the road and walking beside some of the private rentals here, there is no way on the beach. However, there are no gates or guards on duty, so it is possible to get on the beach this way.
Facing the open Caribbean, these waters are warm, shallow and inviting on this beach. The sand is soft and the beach is long and wide.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.
If you find that you desire beaches which offer those who visit an idyllic place to escape, then a good choice for you is North Side Beach; it is tucked away in a much quieter section of the region.
North Side Beach is always a lovely side-trip when you're in the area. Look for it on the North East coast of Grand Cayman; it will be near other attractions like Mission House, which is five and a half miles away.
Some may feel that museums and beaches are an odd combination, but some visitors find that museums like National Gallery of the Cayman Islands (found 11 miles away) offer a fun learning experience and a whole new way to view the Cayman Islands' traditions and culture.

North Side Beach is near Bodden Town, so walking the city is a definite option. Nearby, you'll find the city of Bodden Town, which is not an overly urbanized area, but still has its fair share of things to do. From the shore, Bodden Town isn't out of reach at six and a half miles (ten and a half kilometers) away.
The popularity of this spot on any given day can vary, depending on when you visit, and how many people have booked rooms nearby. North Side Beach is not near very many major hotels, but you may meet guests staying at some of the area's smaller options.

If you're feeling hungry for a midday meal, the area near this beach provides some viable options, so you won't have to wander too far from the sea. One of the closest restaurants is Over The Edge. This restaurant offers both Caribbean and French dishes on the menu. They have become well-known, however, because of their seafood. You'll have the option of walking or taking a cab as it's only a short distance away.

Vacationers searching for the perfect beach will have other options if North Side Beach doesn't suit their tastes.

Perhaps North Side Beach is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case you should keep looking for a beach or natural attraction that suits your vacation style.
