With plenty of variety, from the fine dining backdrop at Abacus Restaurant & Lounge to the dives where cocktails are as much a part of dinner as the grub, there's something for every type of traveler and even for a memorable date night.
The following list allows you to pursue the few contemporary places you'll have the chance to check out during your getaway. You can click each restaurant's name to find out more about its location, style, and more.
Abacus Restaurant & Lounge is located in the general vicinity of downtown Georgetown; it is approximately two and a half miles (approximately four kilometers) to the north of Georgetown. This place has high standards and a beautiful decor, which means patrons who favor that type of dining as well as contemporary food shouldn't overlook this option.
At Abacus, each meal begins with a complimentary bread basket, but from there the choice is yours. Choose from a selection of gourmet offerings such as free range chicken breasts, veal chops, and duck. Even the burgers are high end, made with 10 ounces of prime beef.

Upstairs at Kaibo is on the same premises as Kaibo Beach Bar & Grill, and is a smart choice for travelers exploring this part of Grand Cayman. From the restaurant, Bodden Town is five and a half miles (eight and a half kilometers) to the south. Fresh seafood and contemporary fare both describe the best dishes at this notable formal dining option.
Dining at Upstairs is a truly special experience. The menu changes often in order for Chef Laurence to utilize to freshest ingredients available, from line caught fish from local waters to whatever produce is in season. Herb crusted fish, perfectly cooked tenderloin, and risotto are all common menu fixtures.

Though you may be stuffed, you won't want to skip dessert. Everything is made in house, with such offerings as white chocolate parfait with dark chocolate nougatine, and sticky banoffee pudding.

Wine pairings are available, as well as over 50 different rums.

Roland's Garden is located near downtown Georgetown; it is two miles (three and a half kilometers) to the north of Georgetown. Gladly termed an informal dining option, it's not hard to see why people come here to "put their feet up".
Roland's Garden is fully screened in, but open enough so that guests can enjoy the surrounding tropical garden.
