The blowholes is a thin stretch of beach on Grand Cayman's less popular south shore. If you're looking for a beach trip with a more culturally distinct island experience, head to the more urban beaches near George Town.

Located on the eastern side of the island of Grand Cayman, 1.2 miles west of East End, You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. This beach isn't just another pleasant afternoon distraction, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches in the Cayman Islands. While The Blowholes may be a little farther away, it's a pleasure to find an undisturbed plot of sand like this one.

How to Access The Beach
This beach is easy to find and access, just steps from Sea View Road, in south central Grand Cayman.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beach is tan, with seaweed and vegetation sprawled out on the sand. There is no development here and there's likely to be no one around. The water can be fairly rough, so be cautious when swimming.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.

The Blowholes offers visitors a quiet and peaceful retreat, in part because the location that surrounds the beach won't be overly crowded.
