Jack's Shack is a lively beach hut on Grand Turk where locals meet to enjoy a drink and some grilled food. Tourists who happen upon the shack enjoy the authentic island experience, friendly environment, and strong drinks.


Jack's Shack has a great Jamaican chef and seafood chef who serve up fabulous jerk chicken, local specials and seafood including conch, filleted fish, and shrimp. They have lobster in season and whole fish when available from the local fishermen. Chef Leroy is known as the singing chef and is somewhat of a local celebrity.

Jack's Shack is a bar and grill that offers Caribbean and Jamaican cuisines, as well as chicken. As far as service and setting, you can expect the formality to be very casual.


Due to the reasonably spacious size of this dining establishment people should expect to keep clear of extended hold-ups during peak meal-times. Plus, it is an ideal eatery if you and your traveling companions are dining with a large party. As an extra perk, Jack's Shack is situated right along the sandy beach

Jack's Shack is little more than a tiki hut with patio furniture (umbrellas included to protect from the sun) on a wooden deck that leads out onto the beach. The restaurant is famous for its local flavor on a beautiful sandy beach. The owners and knowledgeable staff are happy to attend to their guests enjoyment of Grand Turk from service on the beach, showers and restrooms to great drinks at the tiki bar, and of course the fragrant aromas of the delicious jerk grille to our gift shoppe we try to make your visit special.


Jack's Shack can be found on the southern edge of the island of Grand Turk; it's 1.7 miles to the south of Cockburn Town.

If you are hoping to combine your dining experience with some nice sightseeing possibilities, you'll find at least a couple notable attractions within reach of the restaurant, like The Salt House.

One popular reason to visit Jack's Shack is that it is located directly on Governor's Beach.
