Shopping on Grand Turk

Shopping is not Grand Turk's strong suit, but if you know where to look you'll be able to find some unique and memorable trinkets to take home with you as souvenir of your time spend on the island.

Those who arrive via cruise ship will often have the best luck shopping because many local businesses cater to this clientele and only open up when a ship is in port.  This is when the businesses at the Grand Turk Cruise Center and along Front Street are all busy and ready to sell their products.  Keep an eye out for locally made options like items crafted out of driftwood and shells and skip the generic souvenirs that you can find at any cruise port in the Caribbean.

Specialty Shops

One of the interesting speciality shops in the area is Diamonds International Grand Turk. This venue is found within southern Grand Turk. Diamonds International is more than diamonds (though you can certainly get them both loose and set in precious metals). They offer a huge selection of pieces in a variety of precious and semi-precious stones. If you are looking for something specific and want to call before you go, do so at (649) 946-1349.
