Positioned on the island of Great Exuma, Emerald Bay Beach is on the North West coast of the island, You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. You'll find the area around the beach to be somewhat urbanized, but this does not, in fact, mean beach to be rather congested, the actual beach will necessarily be overflowing with visitors. Rather, you will usually find quite a number of places to throw down your towel.

This beach can be reached in the car by taking the Queen's Hwy north from the Exuma International Airport, which runs right by the Sandals Resort at Rockers Point Settlement.
