Things to See and Do While Staying at February Point Resort

Although you might not find tons of recreational possibilities on-site at February Point Resort, that certainly doesn't mean you won't encounter a variety of other exciting things to see and do when you visit Great Exuma in the Bahamas.

This villa complex is so close to the water that its lack of a swimming pool is often overlooked by guests who can simply visit the beach when they need to cool off. In fact, even when staying at a property with a pool, a lot of guests have such a good time on the beaches on Great Exuma that they make little use of the pool during their visit.

Tennis

Tennis fanatics should definitely consider staying at this location, since its on-site tennis facilites make for a pleasant afternoon activity, or sweat-breaking challenge. There are 2 courts on-site.

Golf

While there isn't a golf course at February Point Resort, you may be able to arrange a tee time during your stay. The nearest course is Emerald Reef Golf Course, which is located 13 miles from the villa complex. You can play 18 holes at this course. The total length is 5642 yards, and it's been rated a par 72. For those who would like to find out more information, you can call the course at (242) 336-6800.

Watersports

Because of the layout of February Point on Great Exuma Island, guests and residents often find it easier to commute by boat than land vehicle. The community has a 38-slip dock for resident and guest boats, and short and long-term storage arrangements.

Family Activities

Though February Point Resort welcomes those traveling with children, there aren't a lot of amenities that are specifically targeted at families. To view some properties that are focused on catering to families traveling with kids, check out accommodations which are top-rated for family vacations.

The exclusive Forever Young program at February Point has a wide variety of children's entertainment and activities. From cooking and tennis lessons, to babysitting services, beach games and movies, there's something to keep kids of every age active and learning.

Entertainment and Nightlife

This villa complex tends to be a bit on the quiet side when the sun sets. Hence, this is not typically a top pick for guests who want after dark entertainment right where they are staying.

In fact, there are no bars or dance clubs to be found at this villa complex, so at least your sleep won't be disturbed by loud music.
