Jolly Hall Beach

Protected from ocean waves by Stocking Island, the water is as calm and clear as they come. The experience is tranquil and the views spectacular. It is adjacent to Coconut Cove Beach, but the beach at Jolly Hall is a little wider, and possibly fewer people.

Set in George Town, Jolly Hall Beach is on the West edge of Great Exuma. You might want to drop by regardless of whether you're staying particularly close by. Many of the beaches in the Bahamas are quiet and secluded, but the ambiance at Jolly Hall Beach is one of both seclusion and activity; this means you can relax without having to travel too far from the buzz of the city.

How to Access The Beach
In the central part of the island, head north from George Town. There are some parking areas off to the right (coastal) side of the road, and from there a path will take you right to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

In between George Town and Hoopers Bay, Johnny Hall Beach is formed by a thin peninsula jutting out from the coast - Johnny Hall on one side and Coconut Cove Beach to the south. The water is shallow and calm, making swimming opportunities available for folks of all abilities.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.

Since Jolly Hall Beach is located in a commonly visited area, you might need to hunt to get a spot!
