Known especially for its "Three Sisters" - the three magnificent rocks just off the shore - this beach is as romantic and peaceful as it is steeped in rich Bahamanian lore.
Located on the island of Great Exuma, near Stocking Island, Three Sisters Beach is on the North West edge of the island, You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. The Bahamas' beaches are pretty busy for the most part, but Three Sisters Beach is less exposed than the others, which offers some middle ground to those who aren't fond of huge throngs of tourists.
You can drive to this beach in Mt. Thompson, 12 miles north of George Town. There are a few of places to park your car just off the main road, most of which leave you right at the beach.
The beach is covered in fine white sand, which you can dig your toes into while you enjoy the spectacular views of the turquoise waters and the picturesque Three Sisters rock formations.
