Things to See and Do While Staying at Flip Flops on the Beach

Although you likely won't find many recreational opportunities right at Flip Flops on the Beach, that doesn't mean there aren't a variety of other fun things to see and do during your time on Great Guana Cay, the Bahamas.

These cottages are luckily in close proximity to the water, so its lack of a swimming pool is often overlooked by guests who can enjoy a swim at the beach instead. Many vacationers would rather head to the closest coast even when a swimming pool is available.

While there isn't a golf course at Flip Flops on the Beach, the on-site staff may be able to assist you in scheduling a tee time nearby. The nearest golf course is Treasure Cay Golf Course, which is located within visiting distance of this accommodation. This course has 18 holes total. It's a par 72 course, and is 6336 yards long. Although children are certainly welcome at Flip Flops on the Beach, there aren't many amenities intended specifically for families. To see some places with more amenities of particular interest to kids, you might want to consider properties rated best for family vacations.

If the difference between a great getaway and a boring trip means finding vibrant nightlife and dozens of live shows to choose from, then Flip Flops on the Beach is not the best option. The cottages don't host many after-hours events.

In fact, you will not find any nightclubs or bars at these cottages, so it's a good match for guests who prefer peace and quiet to an active social scene.
