Amenities and Ambiance

Scooping out a small bit of the Grenada coastline, Duquesne Bay is lined by thick trees and dotted with coconut palms. The sand is dark tan, with deep blue waters that wash ashore in a relatively calm manner.

You'll also discover that there is a restaurant on the shore worth trying. Vacationers will find plenty of places on Grenada serving up delicious local cuisine, but did you know that some of Grenada's best dishes aren't served in restaurants at all? Some visitors, in fact, simply sit on their towels——not in a restaurant——to enjoy lunch. Ask your hotel about picnic lunches, as some hotels offer to pack snacks for their guests' day trips. Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.

Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch.

Yes, there are public restrooms at Duquesne Bay. You will find the water here is of good snorkeling quality, so grab your gear if you're looking to see some exciting marine life.

the region in which Duquesne Bay is located is not exactly a tourism capital. With that fact in mind, failing to obtain an available amenity or service here is something that you will not have to go through when arriving at the beach, in spite of what time of the day you get there.
