Amenities and Ambiance

Scooping out a small bit of the Grenada coastline, Duquesne Bay is lined by thick trees and dotted with coconut palms. The sand is dark tan, with deep blue waters that wash ashore in a relatively calm manner.

Of course, you could always try the shoreside restaurant right on Duquesne Bay, which is the ultimate convenience for beachgoers. Beachgoers will find notice plenty of nice restaurants all around Grenada, but don't think that tables, chairs, and waiters are prerequisites for a great meal. Many vacationers would sooner enjoy lunch on the sand, than lunch at a full-service restaurant. With this in mind, you might ask your hotel if they offer to pack picnic lunches for their guests. Otherwise, street vendors and casual walk-up eateries will have take-out dishes you can bring to the beach.

The concession stand located here is another lunchtime alternative.

Yes, public restrooms will be available here. You will find the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some equipment if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.

Guests that are hoping to take advantage of the conveniences made available here, will be thankful; Duquesne Bay is found in an area which is not as popular among tourist. With this in mind, regardless of what time you arrive, as there's only a very little possibility you'll need to share the sand with any other beach-goers who might want access to the comforts that are available.
