Galby Bay

Galby Bay is located along the southeast coast of Grenada. Although this is one of the larger and more popular beaches in the area, it remains largely uncrowded.

Located near the center of the island of Grenada, 2.3 miles east of St. Davids, Galby Bay is on the South East edge of the island, You might want even if you aren't staying very close. Galby Bay stands out because it's perfect for escaping the hustle of Grenada's urban areas. Other nearby beaches on Grenada may be just as breezy and refreshing, but are usually more cramped since they're near some of the most popular hotels.

How to Access The Beach

A long, bumpy dirt road through the forest leads to Galby Bay. Four wheel drive is recommended.

Amenities and Ambiance

Galby Bay features pristine tan colored sand backed by miles of trees. Parts of the shore are a bit rocky, and to one side is a fresh water pond.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. You'll find the waters off-shore to be of good snorkeling quality, so grab some gear if you're hoping to see what lies beneath the surface.

Galby Bay brings guests an angelic and relaxing haven, since the location that surrounds the beach is free of city-life and traffic.
