Gouyave is known around Grenada as being a busy, friendly, energetic town, and the beach is no different. Visitors should not expect to have the shore entirely to themselves, but the ambiance is such that you will always feel welcome.

Located toward the center of Gouyave, Gouyave Beach is on the North West coast of Grenada. You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying particularly close by. You may notice that beaches throughout Grenada tend to be fairly quiet and secluded, but Gouyave Beach is the exception.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is located just off Hills View Road.

Amenities and Ambiance

Primarily a fishing village, there is a dock that stretches out to the sea and the shores of Gouyave Beach are lined with canoes and fishing boats, always ready and waiting to go in search of the day's catch. The beach itself enjoys soft, tan colored sand and a few palm trees here and there. The water is aquamarine in hue.

There is also a restaurant right on the water, so if you don't want to leave Gouyave Beach at all, it's worth a try. There are so many dining experiences on Grenada that visitors can partake in, but eating at the beach can be especially enjoyable. Did you know that many hotels are able to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.

You will be able to use a public restroom at Gouyave Beach. The water here is fit for snorkeling, so grab some gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.
