Great River Bay

While Great River Bay is not the beach of choice for many tourist, it offers an alternative to the ones that everybody else will be at. Additionally, the color of the sand, and the popularity among locals still makes it a fun and unique beach to relax at.

Positioned toward the eastern outskirts of Dunfermline, Great River Bay is on the East coast of Grenada. You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying in the vicinity. Grenada's beaches are hardly known for being secluded, however, Great River Bay is tamer than most, making it just the right spot for vacationers who want to stay away from big crowds, but still get the most out of their beach visit.

Amenities and Ambiance

The dark sand is the defining feature of the beach, and it is what keeps many people away, espcially those wanting nothing less than shimmering white sand.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

Great River Bay offers those who visit an idyllic and peaceful getaway, especially since the surrounding area is away from most urbanization.
