Great River Bay

While Great River Bay is not the beach of choice for many tourist, it offers an alternative to the ones that everybody else will be at. Additionally, the color of the sand, and the popularity among locals still makes it a fun and unique beach to relax at.

Located in Dunfermline, Great River Bay is on the East edge of Grenada. You should consider stopping by whether or not you're staying very close. The surrounding region is not very urbanized, but that doesn't mean the beach will be boring.

Amenities and Ambiance

The dark sand is the defining feature of the beach, and it is what keeps many people away, espcially those wanting nothing less than shimmering white sand.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

Great River Bay brings guests an angelic and tranquil enclave, in part because the surrounding area contains little build-up and is free of urbanization.
