This beautiful beach is a part of the Las Sagesse Nature Center. Here, beach goers can take romantic nature walks through the La Sagasse Beach hiking trails where they may encounter exotic species of birds and other indigenous wild life.

Positioned near the heart of the island of Grenada, 1.0 mile south of St. Davids, La Sagesse Beach is on the South edge of the island, You might want to drop by regardless of whether you are staying in the immediate vicinity. It's often said that La Sagesse Beach is the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Many of the other beaches on Grenada may be just as breezy and refreshing, but are usually more crowded since they're right in the thick of tourists' favorite hangouts.

How to Access The Beach

La Sagesse Beach is accessible via La Sagesse Nature Center.

Amenities and Ambiance

The sands of La Sagesse Beach are lined with lush green coconut trees, which are a perfect source of shade from the afternoon sun. The edges of the beach are also shrouded in beautiful flowers and plants which flourish on this part of the island. The sand, meanwhile is soft and white, complimented by the calm aqua waters that rush ashore.

For your convenience, restrooms are available at La Sagesse Beach. Happily, the off-shore waters are clear and good for snorkeling, so grab your gear if you're looking to see some exciting marine life. La Sagasse Beach is secluded and unspoiled, and the atmosphere is tranquil. One of Grenada's less developed beaches, you will hardly ever find a crowd here. This is the ideal romantic hideaway for couples or open spot for those beachgoers who want to connect with nature. These shores are not very popular with the locals because it is out of the way.
