La Sagesse Beach

This beautiful beach is a part of the Las Sagesse Nature Center. Here, beach goers can take romantic nature walks through the La Sagasse Beach hiking trails where they may encounter exotic species of birds and other indigenous wild life.

Located toward the center of the island of Grenada, 1.0 mile south of St. Davids, La Sagesse Beach is on the South coast of the island, You might want whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity. This beach isn't just another pleasant afternoon distraction, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches on Grenada. While La Sagesse Beach may be a little farther away, it provides a rare chance to escape crowds of tourists.

The sands of La Sagesse Beach are lined with lush green coconut trees, which are a perfect source of shade from the afternoon sun. The edges of the beach are also shrouded in beautiful flowers and plants which flourish on this part of the island. The sand, meanwhile is soft and white, complimented by the calm aqua waters that rush ashore.

Restrooms are available at La Sagesse Beach. You will find the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your equipment if you're looking to see what goes on beneath the surface. La Sagasse Beach is secluded and unspoiled, and the atmosphere is tranquil. One of Grenada's less developed beaches, you will hardly ever find a crowd here. This is the ideal romantic hideaway for couples or open spot for those beachgoers who want to connect with nature. These shores are not very popular with the locals because it is out of the way.

This pleasant stretch of sand known as La Sagesse Beach is on the South coast of Grenada. It's located near Westerhall Rum Distillery, which is close enough that guests will have the choice to walk or take a cab, and it is one of a few favorite destinations in the area.

If you want to combine a cultural experience with your visit to the beach, you may want to consider visiting Grenada National Museum. It's located relatively close to La Sagesse Beach, and might make a nice break from the midday sun.

Vacationers in search of the perfect beach will have other options if La Sagesse Beach doesn't suit their tastes.

Another location you might enjoy is Grand Anse Beach, situated a brief car or taxi trip away. Grand Anse Beach is one of the best and most well-known beaches on Grenada. Located on the Caribbean, it boasts crystalling blue water and bright white sand. Visitors will find plenty of water sports to play and a variety of vendor stands to explore. Palms provide respite from the mid-day sun and waterfront restaurants provide visitors with tasty food and cold beverages. Still, if you're searching for something a little more active, you might find that Gaby's Beach is just right. You'll find it two miles to the northeast.

You might also want to visit Westerhall Point, located within a couple of miles.

Grenada offers endless ways to discover its natural beauty, and La Sagesse Beach offers just one way to spend time outdoors.
