This isn't just another pretty beach, it's one of the rare "quiet" beaches on Grenada. While Levera Beach may be a little bit out of the way, visiting this beach instead of a more crowded one could make your experience less stressful.

How to Access The Beach

The dirt road leading to Levera Beach is rough and bumpy, making it important to use a vehicle with four wheel drive and excelled suspension imperative to making the trip.

Amenities and Ambiance

The wild sweep of sand that is Levera Beach boasts dramatic scenery, with its backdrop of eroded cliffs, and a mangrove swamp and a nearby pond. This beach overlooks Sugar Loaf Island, which is just offshore of this amazing coast. The waters here can be rough.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. The water in the area is clear enough for snorkeling, so purchase or rent some equipment if you are looking to do some underwater exploration. Because of the rocky journey in reaching this beach, not very many people venture out to see it, allowing visitors to have a calm experience at Levera Beach without large crowds.
