Sauteurs Bay

Sauteurs Bay is located on Grenada's north coast. Because it is not as well known as many other island beaches, it is almost always deserted, yet remains easy to access. If you are not in possession of a vehicle with good suspension but still want some privacy, this is the beach for you.

Located on the island of Grenada, 0.6 miles northwest of Sauteurs, this beach is nicely positioned on the coast. You might think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the vicinity. Though Sauteurs Bay is not a particularly quiet beach, it's also not overwhelmed by crowds, as many of the other beaches on Grenada are. So while this isn't the most private place on the island to spend time with your sweetheart, you'll rarely be disturbed by crowds of beachgoers, should you decide to take a romantic walk.

Amenities and Ambiance

The bay is backed by coconut palm trees, which run along the entire length of the tan colored beach. The waters are deep blue and can be a bit choppy.

There is also a restaurant on-location, which many Sauteurs Bay visitors find convenient and satisfying. There are so many unique restaurants on Grenada, but don't think that table-side service and a lengthy menu are necessary to enjoy a tasty meal. Many visitors find it more convenient and relaxing to eat on near the beach than in another restaurant. Did you know that some hotels are happy to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Or, it would be easy to grab some hot food from a street vendor or casual cafe along the way.

The snack bar located at this spot is perfect for quick lunches and cold drinks, too.

Yes, there are public restrooms at Sauteurs Bay.
