Sauteurs Bay is located on Grenada's north coast. Because it is not as well known as many other island beaches, it is almost always deserted, yet remains easy to access. If you are not in possession of a vehicle with good suspension but still want some privacy, this is the beach for you.
Located on the northern coast of the island of Grenada, 0.6 miles northwest of Sauteurs, this beach is nicely positioned on the coast. You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. While you wouldn't necessarily call Sauteurs Bay quiet, there's a lot less commotion than there is at the other, usually busy beaches on Grenada. So though this is not the most quiet part of Grenada's coast, you'll rarely be disturbed by crowds of beachgoers, should you decide to take a romantic walk.
The bay is backed by coconut palm trees, which run along the entire length of the tan colored beach. The waters are deep blue and can be a bit choppy.
There is also a great restaurant right on-site if you're interested; many find it the perfect, convenient solution for lunch. Each destination around the Caribbean has its own cuisine, and Grenada is no different. One of the most memorable places to enjoy delicious local specialties is right on the water. So, you may wish to consider getting pre-packed lunches from your hotel if they offer them. Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.
Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch.
This beach has public restrooms——something you'll appreciate if you spend more than a couple of hours here.
Sauteurs Bay is beautiful natural attraction, which you'll find on the North coast of Grenada. It is near some interesting sites like Carib's Leap, which is only a short distance away. Visitors will have the option to take a taxi or to walk, and it is one of the local attractions.
If you want to combine a cultural experience with your visit to the beach, you might want to consider visiting Grenada National Museum. This museum is relatively near Sauteurs Bay, so it would be an easy side trip to take after some time in the sun.

Visitors searching for the perfect beach will have lots of choices besides Sauteurs Bay.
If the vibrant atmosphere of Sauteurs Bay is one of the features you love, you'll want to consider also visiting David Bay South, a spot with the same type of electricity. You'll find it a mile and a half to the west. If you'd rather try a more private, less popular location, consider Gouyave Beach. It is located only a cab ride away from the coast.
You may also enjoy Duquesne Bay, which is located two and a half miles away.
While Grenada has many alluring attractions, visiting Sauteurs Bay or the other beautiful beaches in the area can make your time on Grenada even more memorable.
