Scuba Diving Near Gros Islet

The underwater landscape along St. Lucia's west coast comes from the island's volcanic nature with sheer walls and volcanic pinnacles, along with coral reef and a few shipwrecks.  Dive sites range from 12 to 140 feet deep, depending upon your skill level, but visibility is from 20 to 200 feet.

Another good option is Sandals Grande St. Lucian Diving. Those who wish to continue their dive training beyond Discover Scuba can sign up for any of PADIs offerings at Sandals. This service will cost extra. You can call them at (758) 455-2000.

A third option is The Body Holiday at Le Sport Diving. Free to every guides is the Discover Scuba Course which is 45 minutes in the pool, then a 20 foot ocean dive. Guests with previous certification enjoy one open water dive each afternoon of their stay. They're situated 1.5 mi. North of central Gros Islet.
