There are lots of activities that vacationers can enjoy while on Reduit Beach. With an assortment of water sports available including snorkelling, scuba diving and sailing you can spend a day in the sun; if you just feel like being pampered, try a spa treatment, or guided tour for your beach excursion. Many say it's the best beach on the island, and while that's up to you to decide, you'll certainly find it to be the busiest.

Positioned in Gros Islet, Reduit Beach is on the North coast of Saint Lucia. You might think about stopping by regardless of whether you're staying in the immediate vicinity. St. Lucia's beaches are known for being secluded spots, which offer tranquility and relaxation. Though some travelers can't wait to enjoy these secret spots, those who like to keep active will find there's much more variety at Reduit Beach.

How to Access The Beach
Reduit is located along Rodney Bay and can accessed off the Castries - Gros Islet Hwy. Just north of the large marina you'll find Dauphin St. Take that towards the water, then take a right on Bay St where you should be able to find some parking.

Amenities and Ambiance

Reduit Beach is situated near a large yacht marina, so you can easily charter a boat to a nearby island from here. The fine white sands of Reduit Beach are shaded by lush island greenery, so you take refuge from the noonday sun.

You could always try the restaurant right on the water, if it suits your taste. Vacationers will find plenty of places on St. Lucia serving up delicious local cuisine, but did you know that some of St. Lucia's best dishes aren't served in restaurants at all? Some visitors, in fact, find it more convenient and relaxing to eat on near the beach than in another restaurant. Did you know that some hotels are happy to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Or, you could find just what you need from cafes and street vendors en route to the beach.

Lots of visitors here find that the on-site snack bar is just fine for lunch. Depending on the season and time of day, you may also be able to buy some food from one of the mobile vendors who are typically found at this location.

You'll be able to use picnic tables at this beach, which make beach dining less messy, and are good spots for lounging.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun. As one of St. Lucia's more popular beaches, Reduit Beach is very family friendly, with plenty of things to do for all kinds of beachgoers.

Reduit Beach as well as its assortment of amenities can be found well within an area that sees many visitors. As such, if your ideal vacation means the amenities make or break a trip, naturally, it's a smart motivator to visit in the morning prior to when the other tourists come or perhaps go to a different beach in a more remote area. If not, you could possibly not be able to use all those comforts that Reduit Beach offers.
