Le Moule

Le Moule's shoreline is protected by a reef, and the waters are shallow and calm making for excellent swimming conditions even for younger swimmers. There are several beach bars along these shores, as well as one of the most famous surf spots in the region.

Positioned on the island of Grande-Terre, 0.7 miles east of Le Moule, this beach is on the South East coast of the island, You might want regardless of whether you are staying particularly close by. Those planning on making a stop at this beach will enjoy escaping the buzz of city life without missing the chance to do a little people watching.

With its pristine sandy shores and calm aquamarine waters, Le Moule is the ideal beach. This great beach is only a short drive north of St-FranaA|ois' shallow bay.

One of the most memorable places to sample the local fare is right on the water. So, you may wish to consider getting pre-packed lunches from your hotel if they offer them. Otherwise, there are plenty of walk-up vendors that offer hot, on-the-go food.

The concession stand located here is another lunchtime alternative. You might also have the option to order lunch from one of the mobile vendors who set up shop at the beach.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. This gorgeous stretch of sand can get pretty crowded especially on the weekends. Le Moule beach caters to all kinds of vacationers.

Le Moule provides an angelic and relaxing escape, especially since the surrounding region is away from most urbanization.

Le Moule is on the South East coast of Grande-Terre. It's located near Musée Edgar Clerc, which is among the attractions in the area.

The closest part on Grande-Terre to this beach is Le Moule. This location is just three quarters of a mile from the coast, so it is a good option even if you are somewhat strapped for time. This area in Guadeloupe is in an area with plenty of worthwhile sites, while still remaining less developed and congested as some other places.


The mood here——social and lively, or virtually empty—— will depend on how many hotel guests decide to make the trip as well. There aren't many major hotels nearby, but it's sometimes enjoyed by visitors staying at some of the smaller accommodations in the area.
