Cana Gorda Beach

Caña Gorda Beach is so favored by locals that many own vacation homes nearby. This means you'll want to hit the beach early in order to stake your claim on a nice plot of oceanfront property. Because the beach is public, it is kept clean by the National Parks Company of Puerto Rico, and there are facilities on site.

Situated on the southwestern coast of the island of Puerto Rico, 1.9 miles southeast of Guánica, You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying in the immediate vicinity. It's often said that Cana Gorda Beach is the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Other nearby beaches you'll come across in Puerto Rico may have the same warm sand and calming breezes as Cana Gorda Beach, but tend to be more crowded since they're located by some of the most popular tourist areas in town.
