Whether or not you encounter many other people will be influenced by everything from the time of day to the capacity of nearby hotels. There are not many major hotels nearby, but it can attract visitors from some of the area's smaller options.

Another location you may want to try is Rosado Beach, which is located reasonably close-by, meaning a short ride in a taxi will get you here pretty easily.
Cana Gorda Beach could be the ideal stretch of sand, but it is possible that it may not be the best choice for your family; in which case there are other beaches (and other outdoor attractions) worth trying.
