This gallery is where there the national art collection is held, with many of the most important pieces of Bermudan artwork on display, as well as works from around the world. Mediums include paintings, photography, sculpture, and even cultural masks. Additionally, the Bermuda National Gallery in conjunction with the City Hall Arts Centre hosts numerous classes and programs for children throughout the year.
The Watlington Collection is the core permanent exhibit, and features some of the European masters from between 1500 and 1850. These include Gainsborough, Reynolds, and Murillo.
On display in the African Collection are figurines, masks, and royal artifacts.
All works in the Contemporary Collection were completed in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The Photography Collection features a selection of black and white photos by Bermudian photo journalist Richard Saunders.
The Print Collection is comprised of touching paintings.

There are dozens of eateries to pick from in the neighborhood near Bermuda National Gallery. The Hickory Stick, which serves International dishes, is very close-by, making it a great option for patrons here. East Meets West and Cafe 4 offer additional nearby lunch and dinner possibilities. At Cafe 4 you and your party can not ask for your check without sampling their specialty, salads, among others.
The museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. They are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
