Holetown Beach is a lively place to spend a beach day when you're looking for a fun vibe and bustling atmosphere.

Located in Porters, Holetown Beach is on the West edge of Barbados. You might want regardless of whether you're staying very close. The beaches found throughout Barbados are usually fairly quiet, but Holetown Beach is the exception.

How to Access The Beach
Located behind the library, Holetown Beach is on the west coast of Barbados in the parish of St. James.

Amenities and Ambiance

The gold sands of Holetown Beach stretches along the coast for eight miles. Much of the beach is dotted with beach chairs and there are vendor tents and carts who show up on a daily basis to sell beachwear, crafts, food, and more.

Many visitors find themselves ordering a drink or snack from the concessions here, even if they move off-site for lunch. You might also have the option to buy some food from one of the local vendors who operate at or near this spot.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. Fortunately, chairs and umbrellas are available for guests looking for a shaded area to relax.

Holetown Beach with its assortment of amenities can be located within a relatively urbanized region. This means that if for you the amenities are a deciding factor, it'll likely be an appropriate motivator to arrive earlier in the morning well before the other people show up or perhaps try a beach in a more remote area. If you wait around, you might miss the chance to completely enjoy the amenities that Holetown Beach offers.
