Holetown Beach is a lively place to spend a beach day when you're looking for a fun vibe and bustling atmosphere.

Located in Porters, Holetown Beach is on the West coast of Barbados. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. While Barbados has beaches that are more secluded than Holetown Beach, it offers just the right amount of privacy and atmosphere to attract visitors who need a place to relax.

Located behind the library, Holetown Beach is on the west coast of Barbados in the parish of St. James.

Amenities and Ambiance

The gold sands of Holetown Beach stretches along the coast for eight miles. Much of the beach is dotted with beach chairs and there are vendor tents and carts who show up on a daily basis to sell beachwear, crafts, food, and more.

There is also a snack bar here. On some days, it may be possible to buy some food from one of the local vendors who typically set up on this shoreline.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business. Fortunately, chairs and umbrellas are available for visitors seeking relief from the sultry island sun.

Keep in mind that Holetown Beach is in an area which is a popular spot, so you may find quite a few people vying for the use of the same facilities.

Holetown Beach is on the West coast of Barbados; it's located near attractions like Folkstone Museum, which is not very far away, so some guests will want to walk to this attraction, while others will choose to take a cab.
