Although guests likely won't find a ton of recreational activities on-location at The Sandpiper, that shouldn't imply you won't encounter a variety of other fun things to see and do when you visit Barbados.

There is one pool at The Sandpiper. You'll have plenty to keep you occupied in Barbados, so there may not be a lot of incentive to stop by the pool, but it could provide a brief escape from public attractions. Of course, this property is also in a prime location on the coast, so there will be more than one way to cool off in the sun throughout your stay.

Although The Sandpiper doesn't have a golf course on the property, the on-site staff may be able to assist you in scheduling a tee time nearby. The area's closest courses include Sandy Lane Old Nine Golf Course, Royal Westmoreland, and Sandy Lane Country Club Golf Course. The lot of them are within a mile and a half and the most proximate of the group, Sandy Lane Old Nine Golf Course, is only a small interval away from the lodging, so it won't be hard to plan on going over for some rounds on the links. There are 9 holes at this course. The total length is 3345 yards, and it's been rated a par 36. For those who would like to find out more information, the course can be contacted at (246) 444-2000.

Guests of The Sandpiper can enjoy complementary banana boat rides and water skiing.
