Humacao Beach is a quiet stretch of sand where visitors can escape for a little piece of paradise.

Situated 3.6 miles east-southeast of Humacao, Humacao Beach is on the East edge of Puerto Rico. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. Even if you love being in the middle of all the action, there are some perks to visiting a beach that hasn't been "discovered" by thousands of tourists; secluded parts of the coast like Humacao Beach are perfect for getting away from it all.

How to Access The Beach
Humacao Beach can be found at the end of a long dirt road, off PR-923 just south of the air strip serving Humacao. A four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

Amenities and Ambiance

Backed by coconut palms and a small fresh water pool, Humacao has soft tan sand and green waters.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

If you usually choose beach days which bring visitors an idyllic experience, then a good choice for you is Humacao Beach; it's tucked away within a more rural sector of the region.

Hotels

The popularity of this spot on any given day can vary, depending on when you visit, and how many of the nearby hotel rooms have been booked.

Don't anticipate finding any of Puerto Rico's popular hotels alongside this beach, but if you're looking to evade throngs of vacationers, the lack of accommodation options will be a welcomed sight.

Food

Because restaurants near the beach catch the freshest seafood and the balmiest breezes, don't miss your chance to visit a nearby restaurant, where you can sample regional favorites, without straying too far from your current location. One of the nearest places to eat is Paseo Playero Restaurant. This restaurant has a menu featuring Creole food. They are also famous for their seafood.
