Natural Attractions on Isla Mujeres

Hiking is a great way to get out and explore the landscape of Isla Mujeres.  There are several designated trails throughout the area, and if you have a knowledgeable guide, you can even strike out and see some more rugged areas.  Although development has been swift thanks to the growing popularity of this destination there is still plenty nature to be enjoyed.

Garrafon Reef Park

Do you hope to spend more of your vacation time outside? You can choose from a couple of hiking trails and a nature preserve on Isla Mujeres.

Garrafon Reef Park is a popular nature preserve located in southern Isla Mujeres. This water park is filled with fish and coral, perfect for snorkeling and even offers snorkeling equipment, as well as guided tours of the park to help guests see as much as they can. They have several docks to enter the water from, and ropes throughout the water to help you find your way.
