This urban beach is more convenient than pretty, but it does have the same warm and enveloping waters of the Caribbean and the sand, though dark, is soft on your bare feet.
Located on the western outskirts of Annotto Bay, this beach is on the East coast of Jamaica. You might want even if you aren't staying nearby. Visitors should keep in mind that, although Annotto Bay is by no means secluded, it's not the rowdiest beach in Jamaica either. It's makes a great option for vacationers who want to visit a somewhat lively beach without getting stuck in the most crowded parts of town.
Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.
If you usually enjoy sunny days that offer those who visit an angelic experience, then a good choice for you is Annotto Bay; it is back within a more rural sector of Jamaica.
You'll find this beach on Jamaica's East coast. It is near some interesting sites like Brimmer Hall Estate, which is situated eight and a half miles away, and it is one of a few attractions close-by.
If you want to combine a little culture with your trip to the beach, you should consider a trip to Bob Marley Museum, a lovely museum found within traveling distance, and might make a nice break from the midday sun.

The nearest part in Jamaica to this beach is. This friendly part of Jamaica is just a half mile from the coast, so it doesn't have to be a terribly lengthy excursion. This region in Jamaica is an area with plenty to do, but yet isn't overcrowded.
The number of other vacationers sharing this coastline can vary widely, depending on everything from the time of day to how full the nearby hotels are. There are not many large hotels nearby, but it's sometimes enjoyed by visitors staying at the few small lodgings in the area.
You might not find any places to eat in the vicinity of this coast, so it would be a good idea to pack a lunch if you want to fully enjoy your day in the sun.
Needless to say, Annotto Bay isn't the only beach worth visitng in Jamaica.
