Bluefields Beach

Bluefields Beach is quite pretty. Large trees serve as a backdrop to the white sand and blue waters. The road runs very close to one edge of the beach but you can walk out towards the sea and lose sight of it. The ocean floor is clear and not great for snorkeling, but its excellent for walking out into the water or wading without worry of slimy seaweed or sharp rocks.

Located in Westmoreland Parish, 1.8 miles north of Belmont, Bluefields Beach is on the West coast of Jamaica. You should consider dropping by whether or not you are staying particularly close by. This beach is not just a tropical beauty, it's special in that it's one of the few quiet beaches in Jamaica. While Bluefields Beach may be a little more trouble to reach, it allows travelers to truly relax and claim their own space on the beach.
