Firefly

Firefly Estate has a storied past, filled with tales of pirates (it was once owned by the infamous pirate and once governor of Jamaica Sir Henry Morgan), political visitors, Hollywood stars, and even artists. Despite over a century of famous people staying at the property, it is most noted as the home of oil painter Noël Coward, whose works fill the house and are viewable by guests who tour the property.

Exhibits

Noël Coward's oil paintings as well as a collection of photographs of many of the estate's famous visitors are present in the studio and guests who tour the rest of the house will find all of his original furnishings still in tact. Outside, Coward's body has been buried in a marble tomb in the garden where he would happily sit each night drinking brandy and ginger ale. A statue of Coward is located on the lawn, seemingly looking out over the ocean, and a lookout for Sir Morgan turned bar by Coward now serves as a gift shop and restaurant.
