Most other beaches in Jamaica may be just as pretty, but are usually more cramped since they're located by some of the most popular tourist areas in town.
Just off A4 is a narrow dirt road that leads to Golden Grove Beach.

The closest area in Jamaica to Golden Grove Beach is. This friendly part of Jamaica is only a mile and a half from the shore, meaning a trip here doesn't have to take all day. Iter Boreale is an area with plenty to do, but yet isn't overcrowded.
Whether this spot is full of bodies or practically empty will depend on many factors, including the capacity of nearby hotels. The area does not have very many large hotels, but it's often visited by visitors staying at some of the area's smaller options.
You might not run into any places to grab a bit to eat in the vicinity of this shore, so you may choose to plan a picnic if you want to fully enjoy your time spent at the beach.
Golden Grove Beach isn't the only beach worth checking out in Jamaica.
If you like the ambiance at this beach, you might also like Buff Bay, located a short taxi ride away. But, if you're interested in a more active beach, you might find that Palmetto Bay is just right. You'll find it a mile and a half to the east.
Travelers may also want to consider Annotto Bay, which is located reasonably close-by, which means a quick cab ride will get you here pretty easily.
Perhaps Golden Grove Beach is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case you should find a beach with a seclusion factor that suits you.
