Hanover Museum

Operated by the Hanover Historical Society, the Hanover Museum's goal is to preserve the regions history and present it to all who wish to see. Guests who visit this converted 1800's prison will find plenty of relics and artifacts from throughout Hanover's history on display.


The museum has collected pieces of history from all eras of Hanover. Visitors will find pottery and artifacts from the native Arawak tribes, artwork and tools from the colonial era, and plenty of other pieces leading right up to modern day Jamaica.

There is a small collection of convenient outdoor options to engage in during down time, when you are not exploring Hanover Museum.
