Ian Flemming, author of the James Bond novels, spent a lot of his time in Jamaica on this beach, which is now named after 007. Today, visitors can visit the shores that served as inspiration for Flemming and spend their days swimming, sun bathing, and participating in a variety of water sports.
Positioned in Saint Mary Parish, 0.6 miles west of Oracabessa, James Bond Beach is on the North East edge of Jamaica. The closest town is Ocho Rios, which is an area with plenty to do, but yet isn't overcrowded. From the beach, Ocho Rios is located roughly eight and a half miles (13 and a half kilometers) away.

James Bond Beach isn't the only beach worth checking out in Jamaica.
