The closest part of Jamaica to Palmetto Bay is Hart Hill. This friendly part of Jamaica is just a mile and a half from the shore, which means it doesn't have to be a terribly lengthy excursion. Keep in mind that this section in Jamaica isn't a congested area, and it makes for a nice, quiet day trip for guests who want to see more of the area.


The crowdedness of the shoreline can vary widely, depending on everything from the time the sun sets to how packed the nearby hotels are. There are not many major hotels nearby, but it's often visited by visitors staying at smaller accommodations in the area.


You might not find any places to eat in the immediate surroundings of this coast, so you might want to plan a picnic if you want to fully enjoy your day in the sun.
