Somerset Falls

This small waterfall my not be magnificent, but it does create a large and refreshing pool great for swimming for the whole family. Then you can board a boat to got to the second waterfall; Hidden Falls and the grotto behind it.

The first waterfall, Somerset Falls is a good place to relax. The pool is great for swimming and there are picnic tables to eat at while surrounded by the natural rain-forest environment; though you are not too secluded, just a few yards down a path is an entire complex of restaurants and shops. To get a little further from civilization, you can take a boat to the second part of the waterfall, Hidden Falls, that includes a grotto concealed by the falling water. This limestone cave is fantastic for exploring and taking some unique pictures that will make your friends envious.

The waterfall is located between Port Antonio and Spring Garden. As you pass Hope Bay, look for signs marking Somerset Falls.
