Tryall Golf Course

Two additional courses have been built at Montego Bay, but Tryall is certainly the most historic and might just offer the best round of golf. You'll face a number of natural challenges, including an undulating landscape and well-placed trees. The ninth tee offers sweeping views of the the mountainous interior, the Caribbean Sea, and the old Tryall House, which was established back in the 1830's.

Course Description

The course is open all year-round.

Founded in 1962, this golf course in Jamaica has made itself an established place to tee off. The lay of the land, hole placement, and feared sand traps reflect the design of Ralph Plummer, the lead architect of Tryall Golf Course. The golf course has been given a course rating of 70.5, and its 18 holes stretch out 6228 yards. Also be aware that there's a golf pro, Ewan Peebles, on-site, so think about this location if you're not an experienced golfer.

Along Jamaica's northern coast, the course offers stunning views of the Caribbean and one of the finest tournament golfing experiences in the Caribbean. You'll begin ocean-side, work your your way past coconut palm into the Jamaican foothills, then curve back towards the coast. Exotic birds and dolphins can be seen almost any time of year.
