Surrounded by small town activity, this is a beach near a pier and there are often a good number of vessels in the water and on the beach. Warm, calm waters make for good wading and swimming, but there's no snorkeling here. There are also no rentals or amenities. It's nice to stop by and meander but there might not be enough here to keep you entertained for long.
Situated toward the southern outskirts of Whitehouse, Whitehouse Beach is on the West edge of Jamaica. You should consider stopping by whether or not you're staying particularly close by. If the active mood at Whitehouse Beach is one of the features you love, you'll want to consider checking out Auchindown Beach, another location where you'll find fun and action. It is located three and a half miles to the northwest. If you were hoping to find a tranquil beach scene with few crowds, Belmont Beach may be a good choice. You'll find it a brief car or taxi trip away.
Another sun-drenched spot to consider is Sandy Ground, which is located three quarters of a mile to the south-southeast.
Perhaps Whitehouse Beach is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case there are other beaches (and other outdoor attractions) worth trying.
