Fort Charles

Rightfully so, the Forst Charles Maritime Museum is housed in a building that once served as the headquarters for the British Royal Navy. Though the facility is small, there are plenty of relics on display, detailing the maritime history of the island. Of particular interest are scale models of ships, and a recreation of Horatio Nelson's private quarters.

Fort Charles shows foreigners a new glance into how the people of Jamaica view the topic at hand. Like other museums you'll find, Fort Charles is home to several permanent exhibits, which show off the museum's most talked-about exhibits.
