A nice, simple shop that focuses more on the diving than the decor, ScubaFun is an American-owned spot that it great for people who don't speak the local language.

Cost and Offerings

ScubaFun hosts two trips daily, one at 9:00 a.m., and the other at 1:30 p.m. Trips take place at Parque Nacional del Este, where divers get to experience depths of between 30 and 100 feet depending upon their skill level. Night diving and cave diving trips are also available.

One of the nice features they offer is concierge diving. They give their customers the option of storing their gear with them after a dive, and they rinse it and store it, and the next time you are ready to dive with them, all you have to do is show up and get on the boat; your gear will be waiting for you on board. They also have large boats and excellent staff to ensure that each diver is comfortable in the water and having a good time.

Training may begin at 10 years old with the Scuba Diver Beginner Course, which is also for adults, for $235(USD) and includes a 40 foot dive and lasts for two days. Open Water Certification is $365, Adventure Diver is $185, and EAN-Nitrox Specialty training is $175(USD).

For National park dives, a single tank dive is $50 and two tank dives are $80(USD). The more dives you order in advance, the more you save up through a five pack of two dives a day for $350(USD).
