The first of 12 Scubaquatic locations to open not only in the Dominican Republic, but in the Caribbean at large, this spot set the tone for the success that was to come. Specializing in a wide variety of watersports, it is perhaps best known for its qualified dive instructors and exhilarating daily open water dives.
As part of an all-inclusive stay at the Grand Bahia Principe, guests are treated to a free introductory scuba course in the pool with Scubaquatic. From there, guests (and non-guests) may continue on with their PADI training up through MasterDiver. With certification in hand, you'll have access to five dive sites near the center, including coral reef, underwater wrecks, and even a wall dive.
The PADI Discover Scuba Course is $95(USD) for non-resort guests. For continued learning you'll spend $355 for PADI Scuba Diver, $460 for PADI Open Water, $370 for PADI Advanced Open Water, $480 for PADI Rescue Diver, and $990(USD) for PADI Master Diver.
