Colorada Beach is set on the eastern tip of the Domincan Republic. This section of sand is not one of the island's most popular locales due to the often rough waves, but visitors looking for a day of seclusion may enjoy sunbathing and beach combing here.

Set in the Samana Peninsula, 1.3 miles west of Las Galeras, Colorada Beach is on the North East coast of Hispaniola. You should think about stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Though not very urbanized, visitors frequently find this a worthwhile destination as a way to escape the crowds.

How to Access The Beach

You can reach Colorada Beach by taking Carretera Playa Colorada right to the shore.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beachfront of Colorada Beach is covered in palm trees and tan colored sand. The waters here can be rough, but the turquoise hue is hard to resist.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.
