Colorada Beach is set on the eastern tip of the Domincan Republic. This section of sand is not one of the island's most popular locales due to the often rough waves, but visitors looking for a day of seclusion may enjoy sunbathing and beach combing here.

Set in the Samana Peninsula, 1.3 miles west of Las Galeras, Colorada Beach is on the North East coast of Hispaniola. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying very close. The Dominican Republic's beaches are hardly known for being secluded, but you'll find Colorada Beach to be a little calmer than most, which offers some middle ground to those who'd prefer to stay out of the busiest areas.

How to Access The Beach
You can reach Colorada Beach by taking Carretera Playa Colorada right to the shore.

Amenities and Ambiance

The beachfront of Colorada Beach is covered in palm trees and tan colored sand. The waters here can be rough, but the turquoise hue is hard to resist.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.
