Hungry Iguana

Hungry Iguana is the only full service a la carte restaurant on Little Cayman. A friendly locale that is located at the end of the air strip, they serve a variety of American and Caribbean favorites, using supplies delivered by barge only once a week.

Food

The Hungry Iguana has a set menu of Caribbean and American dishes, with daily specials available as well. Their cheeseburgers and salads are a top choice for lunch, and conch chowder and lobster are a must when they are in season.

Among other things, Hungry Iguana specializes in hamburgers with Caribbean twists. Anticipate and dress for a dining experience that is very casual. This location is open for both dinner and lunch, so make time to try it. You could discover flavors you've been missing all your life.

Ambiance

Inside, the Hungry Iguana features an ocean theme, but guests also have the option of dining outside on the patio with a view of the sea. In fact, this restaurant offers the only seaside dining on the entire island. The vibe is island casual during the day and very relaxed, but at night they request proper attire. There are 12 tables and booths in the dining room, eight tables on the large oceanfront patio, and 20 seats at the bar.

Location

This restaurant is on the premises of Paradise Villas, which can be found in Blossom Village, a neighborhood on Little Cayman.

This part of Little Cayman has many cultural and natural attractions, making it a spirited area of town. Two of the closest visitor favorites from this business include Little Cayman Marine Museum and National Trust House, both of which are only a short distance from Hungry Iguana.

Something else to keep in mind: Hungry Iguana is positioned directly on Blossom Village Beach.

Nearby Restaurants

If you and your group are seeking out a local restaurant that has similar kinds of food or a similar price range, there are a couple of nearby places to pick from, including The Bird of Paradise Restaurant. Diners can find it a half mile from Hungry Iguana.

However, if you're looking for something different, you'll find at least a couple dining possibilities in the area that serve other types of cooking styles and menu items. For example, you could also consider some good eats and different cuisines at a close by place in town, like Pirate's Point, which is a little more than a mile away.
