Not many people make it out to this spot at the northern tip of Long Island, but there will certainly be plenty of places for you to throw down a towel in the sand, soak up some sun, or go for a nice long walk.

Travelers will find Columbus Harbour on the North West coast of Long Island. Accommodations nearby include the Stella Maris Resort Club, which is perhaps the closest place to stay near Columbus Harbour, despite there not being too many other popular spots you can reach quickly.

It might be a bit of a trek to get there, but is the closest populated region. though you may find some smaller towns near the beach.


The crowdedness of the shoreline can vary widely, it depends mainly on when you visit, and how many people have booked rooms nearby. There are not many large hotels nearby, but you may meet guests from the few small lodgings in the area.


There aren't any restaurants close to this coastal destination, so you might want to pack a lunch for your day in the sun.

There are other beaches on Long Island you might like besides Columbus Harbour.
