Buses in Mahaut reflect the local culture wholly, as vibrant and welcoming as the town's population is known to be, and though the buses can be crowed, they are always fun.
Buses in town run Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with limited services on Saturday. They are privately-owned vans rather than actual buses that have been painted bright colors and feature the name of the bus operator painted or printed across the window shield. Although each bus has a different owner, the rates have been pre-set by the government so there is no chance of you being taken advantage of when you're in need of a ride. Check the chart below for an idea of what you'll spend to ride the bus.

You may have noticed that Mahaut is not on the chart. While we cannot give you a set price for it, the town is located right between Canefield ($2.50 XCD) and Mero ($4.00 XCD). With that in mind, you can expect to pay around $3.25 XCD or about $1.20 USD.
