Recently noted as one of the Top 10 Beaches in the World by Trip Advisor, Eagle Beach is a well-loved family beach where picnics and camping are commonplace. Water sports are popular on Eagle Beach and rental equipment and organized water activities are available to visitors. Visitors can glimpse an underwater paradise by taking advantage of snorkeling opportunities here -- the crystal blue waters make for world class conditions.

Located in the heart of Eagle Beach, in the same area as Oranjestad, this beach is on the North West coast of Aruba. You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. While Aruba has beaches that are more secluded than Eagle Beach, it has just the right amount of private-feel to appeal to couples and families alike.

How to Access The Beach
There are a number of parking areas off J.E. Irausquin Blvd. and there are multiple public bus stops with direct access to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

Eagle Beach is a wide expanse of pristine white sand that stretches along Aruba's coast for miles, hugging gentle waters with small waves. The beach is easily accessible and lined with hotels directly across the street.

The concession stand on-site could come in handy, even if you plan to have lunch elsewhere. You may also have the option to try local specialties from one of the mobile vendors who operate at or near this spot.

One obvious convenience is this beach's picnic facilities, where you can park your belongings for the afternoon, or set up a quick lunch.

For your convenience, restrooms are available at Eagle Beach. It's also good to know that you will have access to chairs and umbrellas here, so visitors hoping for a break from the hot sun will not go leave unhappy. You'll find the waters off-shore to be of good snorkeling quality, so purchase or rent some equipment if you want to do some underwater exploration. Eagle Beach is popular among tourists and there's plenty to do on the beach, so get ready to mingle, or just stake out a spot of your own. The area is designed to cater to tourists, so hospitality and first class service are the standard here.

Still, make sure you be sensitive to the fact that even if there exists a few conveniences present while at Eagle Beach, it can be found within an area commonly frequented by travelers. If you would rather stay free of busy-beaches and crowded shores, it is a smart motivator to plan your visit out against other visitors, for example arriving earlier in the day. If you do not, it's possible you may risk all those comforts being unavailable.
